I was surprised by how classic was the brand even before the 2000's. I was speaking in my last post about Viktor & Rolf's end to their ready-to-wear line, about this phenomenon of "ready-to-sell" or "ready-to-wear".
And actually through these archives we cannot say that it was not the case "before" : the 90's silhouette is very clean, classic, minimalist and easy.
I was also struck by the number of looks by show: before our era of 4 collections by year ( Spring Summer, Prefall, Autumn Winter, Cruise etc...) there were 80 (!!!) looks in a show... Does it emphasize this lack of time the designers speak about nowadays, when they say to not be able to be really creative any more?
I let you appreciate some of the Prada looks through the years...
